Professor Gregor received his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1961. His fields of interest and his course offerings cover the areas of Comparative Ideology, Political Theory, and Methodology. His current research focuses on U.S. security interests and comparative fascism. His recent publications include The Faces of Janus: Marxism and Fascism in the 20th Century (Yale University), Phoenix: Fascism in Our Time (Transaction, 1998), Interpretations of Fascism (2nd Edition. Transaction, 1997), and Marxism, China and Development (Transaction, 1995).
