From a Paper Document

If you can only get access to a paper version of your document, you must use an scanner to convert it to a digital file. Many scanners offer the ability to save the digitial file directly in PDF format.

If your scanner does not let you create a PDF, save the digital file as an image (.JPG, .TIF, etc). Then, follow the instructions in the above section to convert this to PDF using Adobe's "Create PDF Online" service.

Alternative Resources

If the Adobe website doesn't work for you, please feel free to use Zamzar.com or PrimoPDF to convert your documents into PDF. Both websites offer further instructions to convert your documents using their services.
